亚马逊Fire Phone发布之时的确引人注目，但现在似乎已经在竞争中败下阵来，至少对于这家线上零售巨头来说，目前的状况非常令人失望。

Fire Phone发布已经过去两个月了，这款手机多少还是让人觉得有些失望。亚马逊客户对这款手机的评级只有2.6颗星（5星满分），评论家门也觉得这款设备“平淡无奇”，很容易“被人遗忘”；就连亚马逊自己也不得不接受现状，把Fire Phone合约机的价格从200美元急降到99美分。

Fire Phone步履维艰，也让亚马逊非常挫败，这家零售巨头在智能手机上砸了很多钱和资源，希望能分一杯羹，但到最后，市场仍然被苹果，Google，三星所占据。不仅如此，亚马逊起初希望利用Fire Phone让移动购物者更加方便地访问线上商店，搜索购买商品，但是由于在市场上的不佳表现，Fire Phone是否能刺激移动端消费还是个未知数。

“亚马逊未来想在手机业务上获得成功，可能性非常小，”Mark Mahaney说道，他是RBC Capital Markets公司总经理兼分析师。虽然亚马逊采用了降价策略，但时机已晚。

过于普通，没有后发优势

Fire Phone的缺点有很多。乍一看Fire Phone和其他智能手机相比，功能还是不错的，包括手机屏幕，摄像头，存储等。此外，该手机在某些App上还支持三维效果，更有一个叫做Firefly的应用程序，能帮助消费者在实体店内轻松识别超过1亿种不同的产品，然后在线购买。

但是手机大众市场完全被苹果和Android设备所统治，仅在功能上有所突出是不够的。实际上，Fire Phone的发布时间比首款iPhone晚了七年，比首款Android晚了六年，如果希望脱颖而出，必须在硬件和软件上都有所突破。“如果亚马逊能够早点推出手机，还有可能引起关注，”Forrester公司分析师Frank Gillett说道，“但是现在市场早已经成型，亚马逊就像是聚会里迟到的那个人，谁都不会注意他了。”

在Fire Phone发布时，Jeff Bezos曾宣称这是一部非常出众的智能手机。“能给Amazon Prime客户开发一款更好的手机吗？”Bezos当时问到，“没错，我们能。”

但是Robert Brunner却不这么认为，他曾在1989年至1997年之间担任苹果工业设计主管，之后协作设计了亚马逊首款Kindle电子阅读器。他说，“老实说，亚马逊手机没什么亮点，整体设计非常中庸。”手机是一种很私人的电子设备，人们会非常关注它的设计，但Fire Phone毫无特色。“现在，我会把Fire Phone排在黑莓之下。”Brunner说道。

市场几乎被瓜分完毕

不仅如此，很多主流智能手制造商们也早已将用户牢牢锁在自己的产品生态系统中。iPhone就把用户套在各种服务上面，而Android用户也不例外，绝大部分都使用的是Google服务。亚马逊更进了一步，他们在Fire Phone上增加了一个“Buy”按键，只要点击它，然后执行简单的几步操作就能买到商品，并在两日送达。

“我个人觉得‘Buy’按键给人一种强制的感觉，”Yves Behar说，他是瑞士工业设计师，曾获过多项设计大奖，客户包括三星，Jawbone。Behar认为想要吸引消费者购买商品，其实有很多“优雅”的方式，而不是生硬地加一个“Buy”按键。

亚马逊似乎也不太会卖手机。Android设备和iPhone在很多实体零售商店内都能看到，还和网络运营商进行了合作。但人们购买Fire Phone的渠道却很少，只能去网站上，合作的实体零售店好像只有百思买，网络运营商更是只有AT&T一家。

此外，亚马逊在手机定价上也显得很随意，200美元不过是行业的标准定价，如果亚马逊能从全盘考虑，并且执行长期战略的话，降价才能具备一定竞争力。

按照现在的情况，即便亚马逊采取了降价措施，Fire Phone在美国的市场份额仍不会超过10%。事实上，降价并不能有效提升手机销量，去年AT&T对HTC First手机的降价销售就是个例子。

如果明年亚马逊采取全新战略模式，提供更具竞争力的设计和更广的可用性，也可能有所突破。2011年，亚马逊发布首款Kindle Fire平板时，表现也是平平，但随后推出的版本越来越好。不过根据IDC的数据，亚马逊在全球平板电脑市场的份额也只有0.4%。

我们可能以后见不到Fire Phone了，如果亚马逊不吸取教训，下一部Fire Phone手机的结局甚至会更惨。
