从60年代开始，坐骑就是PVP的重要道具之一，类似“退化射线”这种直接将对手拉下马的道具也曾风光一时。TBC引进的飞行坐骑改变了野外PVP的生态，飞行坐骑只是单纯的工具，无对战元素，10.0能否带来野外PVP的火热呢?

其实还好，因为该玩法仅限战争模式。战争模式是8.0加入的一种野外世界PVP，可以激活和关闭。许多人实际并没有开战争模式，甚至不知道骑龙可以打架。

骑龙是基于物理的飞行系统，玩家可以定制专属坐骑，利用骑龙技能腾空而起，高速穿越地形，一些雕文也会起到加成作用。其中，“空中翻滚”被描述为一种回旋急冲动作，能够规避折翼者并解散敌方玩家的飞行坐骑。

想要将对手打下马也并不是那么容易，需要一定的操作技巧，至少要能追上对手，某种意义这是一款“赛车竞速”游戏。
