“更新带有圆角的默认控件样式，使其易于自定义。开发人员不需要重新设置控件。”Github上发布的提案解释道。

Github提案解释说，XAML控件目前不一致，与Web和移动应用程序的发展不匹配。通过为Windows带来圆角，该公司还可以解决Windows上应用程序生态系统在这些UI相互混合使用时的不一致性问题。

“目前市场上存在许多不同级别的圆角，但XAML控件的架构会要求开发人员重新设置所有控件，将它们锁定到无法利用的控件版本会影响未来发展。”该提案补充道。

该提案还链接到了Windows 10上圆角元素和圆角按钮的一些示例。例如，下面的演示文稿详细介绍了媒体播放的嵌入页面或一组其他控件。

另一个例子显示了具有圆角和Fluent Design阴影时间选择器。同样，微软还计划在Windows 10系统中使边缘过渡按钮。

这是一个微小的变化，但它确实为Windows带来了更现代的感觉，它也可能会解决整个生态系统的设计不一致性。

Github的提议表明，微软将最终准备将这种设计引入整个操作系统以及应用程序。
