但如果走进它的内部，又会有什么不同的体验？最近，Wired 资深记者、Medium 主编 Steven Levy 在苹果设计师 Jonathan Ive 的陪同下参观了苹果总部，并带来了关于 Apple Park 的更多细节。

苹果对细节的追求延续到了 Apple Park 内部设计中

驶入苹果的新总部大楼的过程中，感觉就像进入了侏罗纪公园一样。在未来 30 天内，第一批员工将陆续进入园区。每周会陆续有 500 人搬家新园区。

进入苹果总部的圆环以前，需要先驱车经过 230 米的隧道。隧道的墙壁上全部铺满了白色瓷砖，看起来就像高档浴室的墙面一样闪闪发光。沿着 Apple park 外围的圆环行驶时，太阳通过每层楼突出的玻璃发光。给人异国情调和复古未来主义的感觉，像是一种会出现在 20 世纪 50 年代的科幻杂志封面的风格

设计者把很多的心思放在了这座新总部大楼上的细节设计，和材料选择上。包括巨型的玻璃面板、定制门把手、面积 10 万平方英尺的健身与健康中心，双层瑜伽室。甚至连瑜伽室墙面的石头，都是从堪萨斯州最好的采石场运送过来的。为了让它看起来就像乔布斯在约塞米蒂国家公园（Yosemite National Park）钟爱的酒店里的石头一样。

因为是一个环状建筑，所以它并没有主要大堂入口，而是由九个不同入口通往不同方向。在咖啡店里，有一个大型的中庭式空间中有楼梯可以直接到达四层。正式使用之后，这里可以同时容纳 4000 人，他们可以在广阔的一楼大厅和阳台用餐。咖啡厅外围的两个巨大玻璃门一直延伸到四层楼，每一边玻璃重大 44 万磅，通过隐藏在地下的机械装置可以打开，人们能在户外用餐。

这些巨型玻璃还得弯曲，需要 14 个小时烧制完成。他们找到了曾经为第五大道的 Apple Store 合作过的德国波里制作公司 Seele Group。而咖啡厅那个四层楼高的巨型玻璃则大大延迟了 Apple Park 落成的时间，因为硅谷多雨的气候，在设计过程中还要突出白色屋檐，并采用技术专利来解决雨水问题。

为了抵御地震，Apple Park 建在一个巨大的钢制隔离器上。它可以保证整个建筑向任何方向移动 1.5 米，内部的功能都能正常使用。

建筑内楼梯的早期设计，由轻薄的混凝土制成，呈现出近乎完美的白色。此外，旁边的扶手栏杆看起来就像是雕刻在墙体内的一样，没有突兀感。由于乔布斯受到了游艇防火楼梯的启发，建议在楼梯间安装高压喷头。这样喷头产生的高密度水雾足以压制火势，最终消防局也通过了这个设计。苹果内部并没有按照标准安装厚重的门来缓慢火势蔓延。

当你站在建筑内部眺望，感到的是平静。尽管从苹果发布给外界的图片来看，巨大的总部圆环让人感受到的是一种极富有气势、和恢弘的力量，以及企业想给外界展现的凝聚力。但当你在建筑内部，站在玻璃前向外凝望，感到更多的是平静以及剥离建筑喧嚣的平和之感。

Apple Park 的设计师总设计师 Ive 认为，评价这个庞然大物比较巨大的数字是没有意义的。这也是一个大范围使用玻璃建造的建筑奇迹，但这并不是什么成就。在 Ive 看来，成就在于 Apple park 能够让人连接起来，在这里合作、交谈、行走。意义不在于建筑本身，而在于它为人带来的价值。

诺曼·福斯特是 Apple Park 的建筑师，他的福斯特建筑所中一共有 250 人参与该项目。福斯特在参观乔布斯的办公室以及 Palo Alto 的家中时，发现乔布斯对于树、玻璃和石头在新总部中的应用有很具体的想象。随后，福斯特又借鉴了斯坦福大学校园的内的设计，完成了最初 Apple Park 的设计草图。

苹果员工内部的办公环境非常舒适

最初，乔布斯给建筑师要求了木材的切口如何操作，并且希望办公室墙面所采用的木材是在冬天砍下来的。最理想的时候是 1 月份，因为那时候的木头含树叶和糖分都最低。你能想象当时一群头发花白的建筑师坐在他面前，大呼：“Holy shit” 的情景吗？最终，出于环保的理由，团队定制了一款由回收木材制作的木板，但效果也足够 Holy shit 了。

门把手不能采用螺丝钉来进行连接。必须融合与门框之内，并且手感要和 MacBook Pro 一样有铝合金质感。把手结构也会应用于建筑的其他部分。

每个苹果员工的办公桌都可以自动调节高度。按钮就安装在桌子的底部。调节按钮设计成了凹凸的形状，凸起按钮用于升高桌子、凹陷按钮则相反，这样就不用再弯下腰去查看按钮。为了让桌上的各种充电线和电线有收纳空间，桌子的设计经过了好几次迭代。

整个 Apple park 室内依靠的是自然通风。园区内部有个叫做“Breathing Building ” 的建筑，是室内通风的调节器。为了确保室内温度保持在 20-25 摄氏度之间，连地板和天花板的混凝土中都内藏了水管来调节温度。这也是乔布斯最初的意愿，希望以此打破室内和室外的边界，来唤醒每个员工的感官。

Apple Park 中的咖啡厅，特意为员工设计了一个披萨打包盒。这种带孔可呼吸的打包盒可以保持披萨饼的良好口感，它还申请了苹果的专利。

乔布斯为 Apple Park 倾注了很多精力

乔布斯对于园区的构想最早始于 2004 年。他与 Ive 在海德公园谈到新园区的设想，但直到 2009 年，苹果聘请了建筑师诺曼·福斯特之后，新总部大楼的项目才正式开始。乔布斯常常会与建筑师们开会，通常持续时间长达 5-6 个小时。

在这栋建筑最初的设计当中，乔布斯多次和诺曼·福斯特提到 Pod（吊舱）的概念。他希望可以把整个总部分别多个可以调节大小的 Pod 以及多孔结构，让大家既能自由分享灵感，但又能很好延续苹果的保密文化。根据 Pod 的概念，福斯特的团队设计了包括三叶草、莫比斯环、螺旋桨等方案，但因为种种原因，最终还是采用了圆环的概念。乔布斯的儿子还吐槽过，螺旋桨的形状从空中角度看起来像是男性的生殖器。

这也引起了一些争议，相比起亚马逊、Google 等科技公司在总部大楼设计时所保持的开放和与所在城市的融合，Apple Park 显得更加封闭一些。但诺曼·福斯特认为这座建筑来自于史蒂夫·乔布斯的激情。一个美丽的建筑能容纳 1.2 万人，而且它的环境十分优美，这是一个像乌托邦一般的愿景，我的工作就是去对抗这些批评的声音，并且告诉这些人：“他们（会这样想）一定是疯了。”
