但是，Golden Goose很显然牵动了不少人的神经。Golden Goose近几天在互联网上引发了广泛关注，例如NPR网站就对此进行了专门报道。

Golden Goose并不是那种不可或缺的东西，但依旧是你渴望拥有的东西。因为你将可以一次性地制作出水煮蛋，而且还十分美味。不久以后，你就可以花上几美元在某个商店买到Golden Goose，然后像变戏法一样在早晨7点做出西式炒蛋，拿给满腹狐疑的女士们看。

这项发明采用的技术的确颇具创意。这款科技含量不高的产品利用地心引力来炒蛋，同时还不会让蛋壳破损。

Golden Goose主要有以下几部分组成：铰链式主外壳，你可以将鸡蛋放在里面，然后将左右两片拧在一起;两侧各有一段尼龙绳;具有人类工程学特性的把手，你可以使劲向两侧拉，让鸡蛋不断高速旋转;一旦整个过程完成(大概需要15秒钟)，那么做出来的鸡蛋具有“丰富而浓郁的味道”，与传统炒蛋的味道有不同。

Golden Goose在Kickstarter融资页面上写道：“用这种方法做出来的鸡蛋口感丝滑，而且根据煮蛋的时间长短，以及具体的温度，你可以做出不同口味和特点的炒蛋。”但更重要的是，你在做的过程中还不需要洗锅刷碗。接下来，你还可以采用多种方式来制作鸡蛋，比如说全熟鸡蛋、半熟鸡蛋、炒蛋和鸡蛋沙拉等。

Golden Goose的创意来自于设计师兼发明家格拉因特・克鲁姆普(Geraint Krumpe)，他具有丰富的工作经验，拥有60多项设计与实用专利。在从原来的公司离职以后，克鲁姆普创立了自己的产品设计公司，后来他无意中在YouTube上面看到一个人用衬衫袖子快速旋转鸡蛋的视频。11个月以后，Golden Goose诞生了。

Golden Goose原计划募集资金34,500美元，但截至发稿时，融资额已经突破87,700美元，远远超过了原定目标。因此，不出意外的话，它将按计划发货。

用户现在能以18美元的价格从Kickstarter网站上预订一个Golden Goose，此外他们还能获赠菜谱、使用说明及其他赠品。Golden Goose计划在今年夏天开始生产，然后在11月份直接出售给销售者，零售价大概为24美元。所以，用户从Kickstarter上面预订Golden Goose，可以节省6美元。
